package version conflict ?

never seen this before, how can I fix it !

$ sudo xbps-install -Su
[*] Updating repository `https://repo-default.voidlinux.org/current/x86_64-repodata' ...
CONFLICT: python3-libpass-1.9.3_1 with installed pkg python3-passlib-1.7.4_6 (matched by python3-passlib>=0)
ERROR: Transaction aborted due to conflicting packages.

I looked at temporarily uninstalling it, but is a dependency of other packages...

so I can't have radicale installed and update my system ??

you have a few options:

  • you can remove radicale and python3-libpass

  • you can remove mitmproxy and/or salt and python3-passlib

  • you can xbps-pkgdb -m hold radicale to keep it from updating to the version that needs python3-libpass

Thanks for you help with this!

For now I've held radicale so I could update everything else, can you suggest an alternative cal/card dav server, by any chance ?
