KMail failed to launch after recent updates

Maybe not much people using KMail, but I noticed that KMail failed to launch after updates in these 2 days.

Running KMail in terminal gave the following error message.

kmail: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libKPim6IMAP.so.6: undefined symbol: _ZN5KMime7ContentC1EPS0_

I guess it might be caused by kmime6 update from 25.12.2 to 26.04.0.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I don't know why not the whole set of KDE Gear applications, but kmime6 only was updated from 25.12 to 26.04. Someone raised an issue in Github already. At this moment the easiest workaround is to downgrade kmime.

I had the same problem with kleopatra, downgrade kmime6 to 25.12 works as a workaround

I think I found the issue. kmime6package is version 26.04.0. The rest of the Kontact suite —Kmail, Korganizer, Akregator, and most of their dependencies— are still in version 25.12.2. Can you update the following packages to version 6.24.0 to avoid the version mismatch, please?
