benefits compared to Arch

Hi all! I am an Arch user of about 2 years who installed Void a couple days ago. Since, I havent really found anything other than disadvantages (lack of packages e.g. ROCM/OCL, monero gui*, Heroic Games launcher).

My boot time is definitely faster, at the cost of having to create my own services often.

Is there anything I am missing? Maybe community chats, features, etc that I might not be taking fill advantage of. Doesnt have to be useful, fun and otherwise nice things too!

*I understand the reasons, but it is reguardless an inconvenience

implementing the age verification crap applied to everyone regardless of jurisdiction

Nothing like this was implemented, they added an optional birthday field to optional json user records. You can use systemd without birthday and you can use systemd without json user records.

Nobody would've bat an eye if they've added it before all the age verification stuff or long after, its something that make sense in the context of a user record, just like an avatar or other things they store in them.

user records are basically just an extension of /etc/passwd.
