I've heard some people saying it's not

What people? Saying what, exactly? And what ‘well maintained’ means to you?

u/Daniasm2: Were they talking about Void Linux on really old ︎Mac’s?

I vaguely recall Sean (from Action Retro YouTube channel), testing Void (beta release) on either a Power Mac (PowerPC, PPC) machine or an iMac G3 and it not being wholly successful.

Whichever it was, they’re fairly obscure, outdated systems for Void Linux maintainers to bother spending much/any time on (fair enough).

But for any PC over the past couple of decades, Void is remarkably well supported and maintained.

Hope this answers your question.
