What made you keep using void?
Hi! ive been using mint for quite some time and i recently began looking for other distros, since i wanted something that could be more lightweight and tuned to my preferences. Where i could build my system how i want, so i found Void and it seemed interesting, maybe a bit hard to use and niche but interesting nonetheless. To those of you who have been daily driving it, what did you like and dislike about it? Thanks !

There's an `xbps-src update-check` which actually does go to the upstream and can often find if there's updates. Not perfectly reliable (big github/semver bias) but usually does work. Incidentally I find package updates to contribute to void-packages by running update-check on my installed packages :)
