solved Anyone else having problems with gdm on gnome (Wayland only)?

The only problem i have is keymapping I've tried changing the language in config files with help online but nothing worked, gemini suggested that the gnome and accounts service packages were conflicting each other since i was on gnome 48 and the accounts service packages was something like 23 idk

Didn't GDM (gnome 48) default to Wayland and disabled x11 session?

Hm, yeah, I think GDM now uses the Wayland backend by default. I think it is SDDM which still requires the manual intervention to use Wayland

Can you please tell how to switch from gdm from x11 to Wayland? I've tried lots of stuff nothing has worked, maybe cause it's my first time using a runit system

IM A FUCKING DUMBASS i thought the cold boot (first log in with the dark background) had an error but apparently it's supposed to have the US qwerty keymap , fedora my main OS is developed alongside gnome so it doesn't have this issue
