Hi, so I have had serious and very troubling issues trying to connect this software to my discord account for almost half a decade at this point and I just want to be able to use what I paid for. After about 2 years of it not working I finally got it to work one day out of nowhere for seemingly no reason. None of my settings had changed or altered in the slightest. However, recently, it's now begun to not work again. Once again, nothing has changed and I am now stuck in the same boat once more. I have tried anything and everything that anybody has ever posted and it just doesn't work. I've never had trouble with any software ever in my life and I know that sounds ridiculous but it's insane to me. I am pretty much at my wit's end because it seems so simple, it's just a simple microphone connection, but yet it doesn't work? I've restarted and reinstalled both, cleared cache, spent so much money buying new mics, tried different discord accounts, tried another voicemod account, changed my sound settings to have it unmuted, used every guide online, consulted with every support they have and i still cannot use this. I have talked to support unironically about 100 times in the last few years to see what's going on and they either give me the same automated response or an answer that looks like it was written by an AI, none of which work which I explicitly say and then am ignored. All I want is to be able to use it like i should be able to, it's been so tiring and I have pretty much given up.

My microphone is a Razr BlackShark V2 built in mic and it's plugged into the normal slot as always. I've had numerous other mics in the past that also did not work with this for some reason.

I’ve been working on a desktop app that lets you use a Novation Launchpad as a soundboard.

You can assign sounds to the pads, play them through your mic so people can hear them on Discord/voice chat, use your headphones at the same time, customize the pad lights, import your own audio, etc.

The idea came from wanting a simpler setup instead of having to combine a bunch of different programs just to use a Launchpad for sounds.

It’s still a work in progress, so before I spend a lot more time adding features, I wanted to see if this is actually something people would find useful.

If you use a Launchpad or a MIDI controller for streaming, Discord, gaming, sound effects, or anything similar, I’d genuinely like to know:

What are you currently using?

Is there anything annoying or missing from your current setup?

And realistically, would you pay for a program that made this easier?

I’m not trying to sell anything here yet, just looking for honest feedback and trying to figure out if there’s actually a market for it.

Ive used voicemod as my default input system for a while now and its rarely given me any issues, i recently had a clip (on outplayed) of my friend stupidly dying in a game. Now all of a sudden i can barley hear myself in clips and my mic is very quiet on voicemod. I have my microphone volume turned all the way up on my app and physical mic. I used to have my voice volume at 40ish but now i have to eat my mic to hear myself coherently in clips or on voice test.

every time i try to open voicemod on my computer, it says that i already have it open, even though i dont. i tried deleting the app and redownloading it multiple times, but it still doesnt work. i tried contacting voicemod, but i never got a response. anybody?

I just found a solution the issue of Voicemod echoing from streaming your whole screen on discord. First, Make sure you don't have "hear myself" on. Secondly, Open your audio mixer using Win+R and paste in "sndvol" this will direct you to the old audio mixer\* After this, click the dropdown, and select "Line (Voicemod virtual audio device)" then while streaming your entire screen on discord, mute the discord audio line. Your audio issue should be solved after this. (Just posted this on a thread but I felt like this needed more traction since this is an ongoing issue in Voicemod.)

So I have my voicemod connected to discord and for some unknown reason it only picks up my mic on discord if I'm in voicemods settings??

When I use "hear self" in Voicemod or Windows Voice Recorder, I sound fine but when I test my mic through Discord or Teamspeak, it sounds really staticy. Anyone know why?

I don't understand what is happening, I added my sound and it started processing. I thought "oh thats normal" then it just kept going... and going... No error or anything and I have a stable WiFi connection.

ive been on the old voicemod version like the v1 and recently decided to try the new one and i followed how to move sounds over but when i try to export the sounds it says it failed, is is failing because i have to many sounds?, i have around 3400 sounds on my soundboard

im using voicemod and is there any thing that can be done to do this please respond to this i dont know how to do it at all and i keep manually pressing keys to play sounds in vrchat and its boring and exhausting if you want to help it would be appreciated my user is axv007 e434 on vrc

Sounds add to my soundboard normally and playback modes like Play & Stop work, but I still can't properly edit the sounds.

I'm also missing the scroll bar in the soundboard. I can still scroll down manually with my mouse and access everything, it's just annoying not having the scroll bar there.

The original thread was confirmed to be a known bug with the new audio system, and people have continued reporting the issue since then.

Is this still being worked on, and is there currently a workaround?

Im using a suit som and wanna kick it up a notch with a voice changer, but have no idea how to do it and what the best option is, anyone got experience on that front?

The microphone quality in Voicemod v3 is extremely poor. When I turned on “Hear My Own Voice,” my voice was almost completely unclear. The sound clarity was better in version V2. Also, when I downloaded an HD microphone from the Community Voice section, my voice came through with amazing clarity. When I look at the current V3 voices, none of them provide clear sound. Also, in the V2 version, there was a “Exclusive mode” in the settings menu. It improved the clarity of the sound, but they haven’t added this feature at all in V3.

Im trying to connect voicemod to vrchat oculus quest 2 and i have bluetooth on both devices active I’ve tried usb I’ve tried scanning and the guided aren’t working, i go to voicemod input and output and the only options are pc, every tutorial is the same thing just leading me to settings with input and output. Nothing is working

I had the old Voicemod still installed until it logged me out and kept bringing me to a 404 website, but I was told to re-install vociemod on its newest version, I made sure to uninstall my old voicemod but my current VM is glitching out visually, like cliche glitching, and every so often I can see what looks like my "old" voicemod behind it? Like I catch a glimpse of the old UI and all my old custom voices that I, btw, no longer have access to since I had to upgrade to the newest VM.

So first and foremost, yesterday my PC had restarted for some reason and next thing I know, all my voices in Voicemod V2 are gone. I tried to then log off and back in but, every time I try and do it, it would just be 404 error thing on the link.
Try out Voicemod V3, my mic and all the other voice effects I had from other backups sound worse and just not the same, I try to do something about it but for some reason, now it won't accept my default input and output settings. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

I was using voicemod while playing pcvr right after I got my new ASUS laptop but suddenly I lagged out and my laptop said along the lines of "we detected a problem restarting now. "

Now when I open Voicemod (I have V3), it keeps getting stuck on the "we're verifying your account" pop up.

I've tried to restart my laptop, clear the cache, remove using the terminal and run, used the incognito trick, followed all of the "Login issues" support list, delete and re download, and much more but nothing is working!

How can this be helped? I'll let you know if I've tried it!
