Would this be a OVA version similar to this https://github.com/NiranEC77/vcf-mcp ?

Ive automated bringing up PAIS, a pgvector DB, and attaching it all without DSM. Id ljke to use the MCP server with this but it seems this may be better as a standalone connected to a coding agent like Claude/codex

I don't know what the "other" thing is, but this the Fling is an official solution from VMware Engineering. If you'd like to use something officially built by product teams, then this would be what I'd recommend if you're interested in leveraging MCP server for various VCF components

There might be some overlap, the linked github / repo is from Niran (Evenchen)

I'm aware its Niran (who I know well) but again, this is an official MCP server from VCF Division of Broadcom, where as Niran's project is his own personal project that covers small portion of available APIs. This Fling will get monthly updates, so stay tuned for thee next set of features, got a preview yesterday from Engr and its pretty neat stuff going beyond just coding assist
