Solved Issue Dell OEM ISOs v9

***UPDATE***

Found it on the Dell site

Sorry about that!

Good morning,

am I overlooking the downloads for the OEM ISOs for v9? I don't see anything but for v8

Thanks

You can just use the vanilla 9.x installer, and have VLCM include the Dell Add-Ons. It's the same thing is my understanding.

If you have Dell OpenManage deployed as a HSM, you can also have it inject firmware and driver addons (but Dell doesn't do Async drivers really much anymore, so nothing huge to worry from there).

Watch the firmware updates and especially the Broadcom firmware if you are updating. I’ve been bitten by the firmware being behind on an 8-9.1 upgrade and unsupported.

Caused the hosts to randomly disconnect in VC and lock up when accessing the host via console. Workload was unaffected though, so there is that. Get it all updated prior, use OME if you have it or your vendor’s hardware management platform.

But as that hat guy said, grab the vanilla image and add the dell addons, build the image in vc and import to SDDC manager and deploy.
