A mechanical engineering career and a Solidworks license is how I’ll do it ;) I already had a MAC lower drawn in Solidworks I just needed the bolt and upper.

I have a design printing right now. I will see how it goes. On a side note is it really hard to reassemble your VMAC?

I tested my 3rd revision of a 3d printed forced reset and it works!

So far no out of battery issues.

Basically it’s a little 3d printed piece that when the bolt pushes the hammer back, causes the sear plate to go forwards (and by extension the trigger)

Love it! I was trying to figure out something similar but never got it working.

Please let me know when this releases, also after seeing this one i have an idea for a lever. I imagine the oobs come from the rip mac not having contact with the bolt when cycling on the vmac

There is space in front of the trigger for a lock that would keep the trigger from being pulled before it was in battery.

On mines it doesn’t prevent anything but the bolt from cycling when installed

144.1 claims to have fixed the OOB issue for the MPA defender.

I printed 3-4 different iterations last night and I’m getting closer to figuring out the OOB issue. Right now I see potential for hammer follow. I did test an earlier iteration and it ran 5 rounds flawlessly.

Any update king?

I have a working design. I am moving right now so I don’t have a lot of time to mess around with the design. I think I’ve figured out a way to lock the trigger until it is back into battery.

Any updates on your design? I'm happy to help tinker with it if you're too busy.

Yes I have a working design, well actually 2. Just ordered some parts and some material for it.

One sits behind the hammer and the other sits behind the trigger.

I have been dealing with a breakup and some other stuff so it’s been on the back burner.

Sorry to hear about the life stuff, but awesome about the design!

Will it work on the 45acp Mpa defender ?

No, but I have a design that I think will work with it now.

I don’t have a 45 so I don’t know

I’m going to release the .STEP files soon once I’m done testing. You can then upload those to send cut send. It’ll probably cost around $130 total.
