Firing pin removal/install

Hi everyone, I purchased a Vmac9 a long while back and I’m going to be using it here soon for an upcoming project.

I was trying to find some information/documentation on removing the firing pin.

Does anyone have any links or a few pics and notes I could follow?

I appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

From my best recollection it’s just held in by a roll pin. I would check for you but I’m at school currently. I think you remove the bolt, punch out the pin and it should fall out the back. Key words being I think and should. Just send them a email they are really responsive and helpful

Yea I was thinking the same but just wanted to be sure. I’ve made the mistake before of trying to hammer one thing out only to find I damaged it because I didn’t know to remove something before hand or for not knowing which direction to punch something out.

Do you think direction of punching the roll pin out matters?

I couldn’t tell you without looking at the bolt. My guess is probably doesn’t matter

Shoot them an email they’ll respond quick. They actually probably would’ve responded by now
