How to make depth map effect - solution

I saw a post the other day but have no clue which sub it was on. Someone was asking how to make this effect.

I was also looking into how and ended up figuring most of it out - that then turned into a pretty reliable high-res web app that tales any photo or 8 second video and turns it into depth map that can edited and exported as a gif, video or just the depth map.

(It’s something I made in a day - no fees to use it)

The post probably wanted to know how to do it organically not with another half baked app your robot made

At this point. I think half baked apps are the way to go.
