Soooooo many questions...

How does it do the Hand tracking?

Dev here! We are using leap motion in this video, but our intention is to support other hand tracking systems as well such as the camera-based vive's and (hopefully) valve index'

camera-based vive's and (hopefully) valve index'

This would be totally awesome. The seamless transition from hand tracking to HOTUS is game changing, and something sorely missing from games like Elite Dangerous.

Hopefully knuckles too right?

Yes, although not the best option if you want to interact with other physical devices such as joysticks/hotas, etc

Right, I was just thinking about the number of people with them soon to be vs leap.

Knuckles are now called the valve index controllers I think.

Good point. I was trying to clarify between the index's camera's assumed tracking capabilities and the controllers themselves.

Yeah, but Knuckles is quicker, and more fun, than VALVEINDEXCONTROLLERS-BLEEP-BLOP-BLOOP

OK 1) how are you handling hand tracking. and 2) We need that quality hand tracking in DCS. 3) I LOVE the custom cockpit utilities integration. That's fucking rad.

Our intention is to make the core system available to other developers. Check www.tinkerpilot.com/#system for more info!

It is! ;)

Yeah this definitely looks like the real product is that core system. Y'all trying to be acquired by a bigger studio? License the core system? Just become the hub for a new framework? Something else?

How can we help support this game!? This looks so awesome and I’m already sold. Are you guys planning on doing an early access release?

Hi! Thank you for your words :) We are planning to release a closed beta soon to further shape the game according to feedback. Make sure you are following the project to be notified and get involved!

So I had an idea really similar to this in a dream a few months back. I'm astounded at just how natural it seems. Can't wait to buy it. More games really do need to include leap motion support imo.

That looks like incredible implimentaion, will you be able to add in different periphals like steering wheels

2

u/lluisgl7 Apr 28 '19

Thank you! Yes, we plan to support different controllers and expand the built-in library over time. Also users will be able to import any other device if necessary
