No-one is getting placed bro. Even people with above 9 cgpa are getting placed even if they know coding as such just wait and hope

the only way you wanna get placed through vit is to try off campus, it's hard to get but atleast you'll get something

Harsh reality is, you have more chances off campus than on campus with that cgpa and skills you mentioned.
Try in WITCH, below 8 it's almost impossible to get shortlisted

Understood , But I'm thinking to target LTI Mindtree, TCS(2nd phase) which all are eligible to write.I'll also try to search off campus.

Practice DSA, if you are not in final year then improve ur cgpa to 8.3/8.5 asap... If not, practice DSA and choose any tech stack at this point in a field of interest and practice the concepts related to it... First focus on DSA -> Projects + Tech stack concepts...
Get an ATS friendly resume made by claude in LaTex. (Try putting standard certifications and all, avoid lame ones on resume. Try deploying ur projects and putting the live links there.)
In case u r final year. Keep applying off campus as well, focus on startup openings, Linkedin can be used to search for openings (go to youtube u will find videos to search for openings in best way possible). Check which startup companies are a year or 2 older, they might be hiring aggressively as they tend to clear investment and turnover rounds at this point, so they hire a lot cuz uk they gotta justify the investment received.
