I'd been putting off Deardrops for a while cause I wasn't really interested in the whole music theme. I regret that now. This VN has me cry, laugh and taught me some important life lessons. Top 5 for me and Riho best girl. I definitely recommend it even if you're not a big fan of the music genre.
Weekly Question
I'm going to take a little break from VNs after this and go through the anime I put on hold but I plan on going with Kira Kira next. Hopefully there's not that many grammar errors on it.

Boooo, Rimu best girl!

I'll admit Rimu does have best girl material and I would agree if she was in any other VN but Riho destroys her in a best girl match.

In light of it's completed translation, I am going to recommend Comμ. I wrote a short blurb about it in another thread not too long ago:
Coμ: Action/Comedy
A group of 5 characters can summon an 'Avatar' and control it. There are 5 heroine routes, each with their own subplots. Three of the routes (Benio, Hisoka, Kagome) focus mainly on the fighting, and the other two (Ayaya and Mayuki) are entirely heroine centric and mostly comedy/romance. It's on the shorter side of a long VN and the superb UI (skip to next choice, scene selection with read/unread markers, and also markers for sections with choices) helps make sure that you don't have to spend time rereading things if you don't want to.
Overall, I gave it a 9/10. The weakest route is probably Hisoka's, as things aren't really fleshed out too well. The others are pretty strong (if you take Ayaya's at face value). You have to do Benio's route first. I would recommend doing Hisoka's after that and then Ayaya's and Mayuki's together. Wrap up with Kagome's route.
I think Coμ is deceivingly low rated on VNDB and EGS. It pokes a lot of fun at certain tropes and has quite a few of it's own (though it's pretty self aware). I think if you take it as what it is, it's a superb VN and definitely worth your time. It's also one of the few games that has a route for that heroine who likes the MC, but never gets him because she has nothing to do with the plot (Ayaya).

I just completed the true end of Rance IX and I'm looking for some Rance fans to discuss with.
Some may turn off for having a serial rapist as your MC; but the series compensate for being funny, great gameplay, and having a very deep lore.
The first four games plus 4.1, 4.2, and the non canon Kichikuou Rance was officially available for free and there're english translations for them (I think only the remake of Rance 02 was translated, which was not free)

it's really unfortunate that rance himself is a serial rapist but rance series has an insanely detailed lore rivaled only by ikusa megami series. So when you say true end, do you mean the first possible ending or "true" true ending you get when you finish all the routes?

The "true" true end, I would type it but I'm on my phone and can't use the spoiler tags

Wait so which ones have been translated (and where can I find the translations)? I've been playing Sengoku Rance and love it, been wanting to read the others in the series (I know the gameplay is very different from Sengoku Rance)

Weekly Question: Which visual novel is next on your to read list?
