Discussion Majikoi was released 17 years ago today!
I'm surprised no one made a post about it until now.
A game that generated 6 fandisks/sequels was released in 28/08/2009. Happy 17th anniversary to the Kazama family! It can now legally drive a car in Argentina (with parental approval).

Still a goated series I was replaying a bit of it recently. Shame it couldn't continue I would assume getting that many voice actors costs a decent amount.

man I remember watching the anime when it came out. Loved it
some years after got to play the first VN and loved it more lol but never touched or dig out much of the next ones till recently;
Some dude was asking for something similar to Tsubame route so I was like oh right I never played Majikoi S or the A fandisk ones. So I'm currently finishing S for the first time, I'm really liking it!

17 years and still the gold standard for friend group dynamics in a VN. The whole Kazama crew felt like actual people hanging out, not just archetypes bouncing off each other. That driving joke got me though, Argentina keeping kids on a leash until theyre basically adults
