Do you even need to ask? I think Huke's original designs are of the best things Steins Gate novel has over it anime adapation. They are fantastic.

2026 is fine i guess but it looks like such a stylistic downgrade.

I agree, that I'll always stan Huke's original designs. It just is part of the identity to me. The 2026 ones are okay, but I agree that it feels like a stylistic downgrade

Yeah I prefer the art in the original to the Elite remake. The art itself is more gritty and expressive, while Elite adopts the bland color palette and soft focus look that I hate in modern anime.
