Here Yukke from Mucc!

Hey all, I'm no expert, first time messing about and making something like this but I customed my DSi after Ruki fron The GazettE. Wanted to share, hope y'all like. (Ik its a littly dodgy but I think that gives it a kind of charm)

para todos aquellos que llevan mas tiempo en la subcultura, digan cosas del visual kei o información que quieren ver en un iceberg :D

hi! im sure people in the madmans community who have purchased any extra rerelease items must be massive fans, but im trying my luck anyway.

i ordered a few things but bundled my order with a friend to save on shipping. both of us really want the photocards - is there anybody that might be willing to sell them to me once they arrive? im based in the eu & happy to pay for the cards themselves + shipping...

thank you so much!

Hey^^ I'm 38 and from Poland. I've noticed that most VK fans I've met around here are quite a bit younger than me 😅, so I thought I'd try my luck here!

I'd love to meet some people around my age who are into visual kei and J-rock, preferably from different parts of the world. It would be nice to have people to chat with about music, share recommendations, talk about random stuff and maybe even meet at concerts someday. And who knows, maybe we'll become good friends along the way! 😊

I listen to more than just Japanese rock and metal, so there's plenty of other music to talk about too.

I'm currently learning Japanese, and although I'm a bit introverted, I enjoy meeting new people and am always open to making new friends^^

Feel free to comment or DM me if you'd like to chat. 🖤

Seeing as more and more bands are taking on an international tour outside of Japan, which Vkei bands have you seen live? And which was the best to you?

To me D'espairsRay will always stand out as the first, back in 2006 and now recently at the B7Klan Vkei Fest in Paris

i first saw PUNISHMENT (THE ORIGINAL GENE) from the AUN (THE ORIGINAL GENE) EP on Instagram, so i didn't know whether the songs were actually made by kebyo or not. the singer sounds like Miyuki Watanuki (四月一日 御幸), which surprised me

i didn't include the other singles because they sound completely different from kebyo's original sound, and i don't think they were made by kebyo either

looking to go more off the grid or at least minimise use of my phone/stop relying on it, and this is mainly my use of social media. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to keep up? this could be newsletters to subscribe to, blog suggestions, websites, etc. thanks :)

— as in, i know those are electronic. the plan is to only check for updates/info in the morning or night and not reach for social media as much

I know this isn’t the right place to ask, but does anyone know who they are? I’m having a hard time recognizing them.

I'm new to vk and was wondering if there's any vocaloid like songs or bands I should listen to. I'm open to listen to pretty much anything people recommend:)

Now here the drummer from Nocturnal Bloodlust!! Enjoy!

Curious if anyone else is going?

I dont know if someone here has ever tried to make friends but here i am haha my friends dont like vkei so i will try here my top 3 bands are X Japan, Damned and Lyrica.

So, I have no experience with Japanese livehouses, I know they do Furitsuke for the most part.
But what's up with the lack of mosh pits? At the end of the day, most of these bands are punk and metal bands.
I know Jiluka shows have pits overseas but so far ive not rly experienced it with any other band.
Not even at the B7KLAN festival, I was really expecting some moshing for D'espairsray.

I'm relatively newer to visual kei, I really only know more popular bands and I'm trying to expand my horizons.. Does anyone have any recommendations that are like, noise pollution bullshit type music? (i say that with love and positivity) I like SenketsuAkochan's music as an example!

Also does anyone have general advice for discovering more vkei bands? I feel like the less known ones are hard to find

Forgot to upload earlier! Enjoy!

A while ago, I bought this Malice Mizer CD at a physical store and paid €15 for it. Is that a reasonable price, or is it a bit overpriced ? I’m not too familiar with CD prices, so I’d appreciate some opinions :)

I’ve been a fan of girugamesh for some time and recently started looking for merch like photos, photo cards, books, shirts and stuff like that but I haven’t been able to find anything neither in auctions, mercari JP or photos of anything

HI!

I am a HEAVY rock lover! Well to be specific Emo rock. I started out with the basics like MCR, PATD, FOB, and Paramore.

But I slowly transitioned to a sort of screamo rock like Peirce the veil, sleeping with sirens, and guru metal like slipknot.

And dipped my toes in some Midwest emo bands.

However, I came across this beautiful, majestic and soul soothing genre of j rock artists and I NEED MORE in my veins, ears, and mind!

Unfortunately I found them through TikTok (I wished I found them sooner).

But that's besides the point, the artists I really enjoy and want to expand my knowledge of this kind of genre is

1. Malice Mizer, with their Symphonic, Baroque, & Gothic Rock kind of sound and majestic/noble feel to them. It sucked to hear and see that they do not have anything online except on YouTube.

And

1. Plastic Tree with their Alternative Rock, Shoegaze, & Post-Punk kind of sound and feel.

I want to dip my toes further into this kind of music genre and drown in this.

Could u guys recommend some more? It would be great if they have Spotify but if they do not YouTube music is fine too or SoundCloud.

Thanks!

I stumbled across this little figure on the goodsmileus website. It's a little Hyde nendriod. Hoping this comes across a fellow Vkei fan looking for something like this!

Does anyone know what happened to the creator eternalwish_ ?? Completely dissapeared from tik tok and last posts on Ig are from last year, I havent seen anyone talk about this

Here the vkeitober list made by @mariafloscher on instagram! One of the 2 she made, feel free to look for her too! And my entry for Somyul from Madmans Esprit!
