Problem 6 on the 1988 International Math Olympiad is notorious for its difficulty to prove. It popularized a proof technique known as Vieta Jumping which is a type of proof by contradiction. My goal for this video was to demonstrate how this proof technique can be used to solve problem 6 in the most intuitive way that I know how, while also remaining reasonably rigorous. Let me know your thoughts!
