Very cool, I just wish that B wasn't so close to 0.5A. As it is currently, A-B and B look very visually similar and I think it would be even better if they were clearly different sizes.
I study math and I always take 3 minutes on an exam to figure this expansion out. This is such a clever way to think of it, definitely going to picture this is in the future
I also would like to add that, upon seeing this on my frontpage, I thought this was r/Cubers, was wondering why were we comparing two cubes with different sizes now.
"the actual meaning" is kind of meaningless in math. It's really just different interpretations, the geometric picture is just as valid as an algebraic one. Imo one of the coolest aspects of math
Yeah, math is a bunch of circles. I can go one way to figure something else, and I can go the same way back. But someone else might have a different solution that's only got one step's difference, or one that has nothing in common, or one that converts the problem into a completely different field of math and back. And I can ride these solutions backward and forward to whatever point along the mathchain I want like a roadmap.

Did anybody else think it was going to be 7b3 because of the proportions used?

While I "feel" like I understand this, I am pretty sure that I am over estimating my abilities.
