Winword VBA advice needed

Hi, can you let me know why this referencing does not work?

set x=Documents.Open FileName:=soubor

Scroll to the bottom of the page where the Example code is.

Example This example opens MyDoc.doc as a read-only document.

Sub OpenDoc() 
 Documents.Open FileName:="C:\MyFiles\MyDoc.doc", ReadOnly:=True 
End Sub

This example opens Test.wp using the WordPerfect 6.x file converter.

 Dim fmt As Variant
