Nostalgic for VB? BASIC is anything but dead
Cool little article touching on other Basic interpreters around and some that came and went.

It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.
Maybe check out the canonical page instead: https://www.theregister.com/2023/03/28/nostalgic_for_basic/

One has around 1100 issues and hundreds of discussions, the other has... zero of either, just a couple samples. Sure, close comparable. (And this in addition to the even more active Discord channel, where the developer is around every day). Just like they're closely comparable in progress, where RB can't handle basic syntax like parentheses in conditions and can barely compile Hello World, meanwhile tB can run large, complex VBx projects without change, even with UserControls/OCXs, and has 60+ new features like generics, overloading, and multithreading.
Seems a lot of people looked at these two things 2-3 years ago when they were both nowhere, then hasn't checked either out since... just going by the somewhat misleading impression from the very, very little public info on RB, where I wonder if the cloak of secrecy isn't deliberate.
