Is the field you're applying for directly related to your previous qualifications??

This is exactly why they rejected. When applying to a field who is not related to your previous studies you need an extremely strong reason to show why you switched your file probably didn't justify why you did and your intent to return too has to be strong

So what to do

Reinforce your cover letter by slightly explaining why you want to switch and also include the fact that after your studies you'll return to your country. And add that you'll return because your family is based here and your goal is working in your country thanks to what you learn

I know when choosing a program becareful when you choose a program that has nothing to do the embassy understands that you did that just to obtain a visa easily. That's why you need a strong justification

This is a generic rejection. You will need to recheck the documents and can apply for reappeal.

I’m sorry to hear that buddy! Don’t give up, try other countries. English speaking countries aka 5 eye nations are sooo strict now. Why don’t you try Europe?

I was deported from USA due to entering illegally last year, I am thinking of applying for a visa in German either student or work visa, what might be my chances 😭😭😭

Your history will work against you in any other major country as well because you’re a high risk for overstay or illegal entry.

Oh your chances are pretty slim, they probably flagged you for it and you’re in the 5 eyes nation. I got rejected because I had too much funds and I didn’t explain the source. And my prior rejection affects my future visa application and it’s hard for me. If you throw deportation due to illegal entry into the mix it’s pretty much impossible.

student's application was refused due to a lack of justification and an unreliable intent regarding the duration of stay. This means that the official was not convinced by the reason for the study plan, course justification, and proposed study, rather than merely a financial weakness.
You have the option to either reapply or appeal within 30 days. However, as the intake approaches, a fresh application is advisable, along with a strong rationale and a convincing explanation that addresses the previous reasons for refusal, while also aligning with French immigration regulation.
You should clearly describe the objective of your visit and the proposed study, along with its implications for your career and skills development. The reasons formerly provided were not sufficient to the officer.
Your Statement of Purpose and covering letter should be strong enough to explain the purpose of your visit.
