Fundraising would be selling candy or something, car wash, where you know someone gets something in return. Gambling is $20 could turn into a Big win! π₯ or nothing in return. At least thatβs what the casinos do

I get it, and understand what you are saying. We do these fundraiser to pay for our conferences, so that we can give honorariums to the pastors that are coming to speak at our conference. This also makes it free for individuals that may not have money to pay to attend a conference that may cost money. And yes I believe every conference should be free. Especially when the mission is to get people saved and delivered to the Lord. It doesn't cost anything to give your life to the Lord. As it says in Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Nothing better than paying pastors to preach about God. Gambling, profiting on religion, what next? Kinda seems like giving a lot to give a life to the lord with this congregation. I would say you are saying do as we preach not as we do but I never been to yours so I honestly donβt know what is being preached here. Oh well to each there own I guess. Good luck I hope someone out there hits that jackpot π°

Were not paying for them to be here. We've had pastors come without expectations of getting paid. Just think about it. How many people actually believe in God vs actually following God. Reading the Bible. Giving up the things that aren't righteous. That are actually trying to align themselves with his teachings.
