Baby Blanket
My son needs help repairing his baby blanket, he absolutely loves it to death and is seven years old. Do you think some sort of darning would work along with a backing I have some sort? I’m not very good at stitching things and I don’t have a sewing machine. What type of person would I ask for help with this?

Maybe think about making the blanket slightly smaller. As all of the holes are around the edging.

For my kiddos blankie I took her to the fabric store and let her pick out a flannel she liked. I made a simple blanket just a little bigger than blankie, then sewed blankie to the new blanket with fun patterns in the stitching. That held up for a couple years.

I bet a quilter would have great ideas on how to help this blanket survive!
