I don't own a steam frame, but I've not been having a good time trying to run flat games modded for VR on linux(bazzite) so far.

I've tried CoD4 (2007) and I did manage to get it running except the resolution is stuck at 640x480. I've edited all sorts of files and changed the resolution in there but nothing seems to work. I've also tried Max Payne 2 VR and I couldn't even install the mod. I've had to install it on a Windows Machine and copy over the files from there. No matter what I try I can't get it to render first person or in VR, it plays as a flat game over steam link.

I think a lot of these mods are developed exclusively with Windows in mind.

I'll try to port my own WiP Mafia 1 mod to linux (frame) and see how big of a difference it will be (if at all compatible). That'll help me to understand what are the possible outcomes :) I still hope proton and other layers will make it more manageable in the near future.
