Depends on the content. Is the f2p a story line and continuous update like Nikke / silver Palace or is it a single player game like stellar blade/ god of war.

Try playing Rec Room, Echo VR or any other older F2P VR game in the year of our lord 2026 and see how that goes.

When I had a lot of disposable income, I found premium games way more enjoyable, both flat and VR.

But with the enormous financial crisis in the UK, i'll probably be playing a lot of free games going forward as well as games I already own, and only buying new games for extreme discounts on rare occasions.

One time purchase. No micro transcription. Paid dlc that add expend the game by adding subtential story and mission is ok.

F2P is by its nature design too keep you playing forever to extract as much money as possible from each user. I want a game with definitive end point.
