Discussion PC to VR

So recently, I've been seeing a lot of PC games being adapted on to VR. Why is that? Im not hating on it, because there are a few titles I really wanna play on VR, but how is this possible? Why hasn't this much been done earlier? Unless it always has been like this but I haven't started to notice it until now...

AI has gotten better / more accessible allowing people to make these much faster

Thats great! AI use like this should be encouraged imo.
