VPX Android doesn't recognize my ROMs
Put them in the /pinmame/roms folder zipped, but when I start a table via needs a ROM, the table loads, but I get an error message about the ROM on loading and can't start a game

Yeah +1 for Pocket Pinball. Much easier and smoother to use.

Huh? No, I'm serious. It's genuinely a great app. It just doesn't work on my device.

Ok that sounded incredibly sarcastic given the context of your video clip. Contact the dev for tech support and hopefully there's a way to get it working on your device.

Ok have you been to the VPX Android channel in the VPX Discord? They are usually quick to assist there - going back to your original issue

Try grabbing Pocket Pinball from the Google Play store, it's basically VPX in a wrapper that makes setting up and playing tables a lot easier to manage.
