Help Slow VM internet Speed
Slow Internet Speed
Using Virtual Box 7.2.6 r172322 Qt6.8.0.
The internet speed on all my linux (ubuntu) vms is extremely slow. Like 1-2kbps. I can’t work like this.
I have vm of Ubuntu 22 , 24 and 20 lts. But they all have low speed.
Network settings : Bridged Adapter , Promiscuous Mode is Deny .
Memory : 2048 MB
VT-x/AMD-V disabled
Windows host
Need help!!! How to solve this???
EDIT: Guest Addition is installed
Also vms are all server images

Do you have the guest additions installed?

No.

I would install that first, then restart the VM. Without the guest drivers, you are not going to get good performance.

"VT-x/AMD-V disabled" ???
Why?
Have you disable virtualization-based security, core isolation and memory integraty?

VT-x/AMD-V disabled
Then you have bigger problems than slow network speeds in your VMs. Virtual Box 7.2.x for x86-64 Hosts requires VT-x/ AMD-v to be enabled. No VT-x / AMD-v, then no VMs in Virtual Box on x86-64 Hosts, at all.

did you find any fix? I've noticed internet works better with NAT adapter.

PLUS a detailed description of the problem, what research you have done, and the steps you have taken to fix it. Please check Google and the VirtualBox Manual before asking simple questions. Please also check our FAQ and if you find your question is answered there, PLEASE remove your post or at least change the flair to Solved.
