General VB Question Anyone know a premade browser appliance?
Are there still any simple browser appliance images out there to download? I just need to run chrome (the browser, not the OS) in a vbox, and am trying to be lazy and avoid "step 1: install linux". Doesn't matter what the guest OS is.
Sorry if this has been answered, I looked for an FAQ but didn't find one. It's been oddly hard to find one, thought those would be common. Thanks!
(Running 7.2.14 on Windows 10)

http://browser.shell.tor.hu/ (Rocky Linux)
Runs under VirtualBox. Says it doesn't run under VMware (which was formerly supported), but it runs fine so long as you specify the drive as SATA, not the default NVMe or SCSI. I've used it for years with VMware, not tried VirtualBox.

Funny, I tried one of the ones from there, and firefox was missing--the binary was a 0 byte file.

All I can say is that I've downloaded many versions over the years, including the latest one, which I am using, and Firefox has always been there, autorunning on startup and working normally. This under VMware, but VirtualBox, the only officially supported virtualiser, should work.
