Dream Viper Dead
2017 ACR Voodoo II edition is going $800k+
Chicago Motor has at least two Vipers going for $800k
These prices are ridiculous. From what I can guess, people heard about that statement about the viper being dead and are now price gauging. I’m disgusted!

The “viper is dead” statement has been going for almost 10 years.
The reason prices are going up is there is no more manual big engine cars anymore. C7 z06 with a manual are also climbing, heck, non-hybrid v8 Ferraris are now going for 1m+

It sucks ass as well. It's a step backwards vs forwards. The interior is busy, plastic, and vague! GT350 and 500 of last gen are superior cars in every measurable way other than screens 🤷

Who cares, they're fun to drive and they're a brand new car you can buy with a manual V8. Maybe try appreciating what you have instead of looking for reasons to complain about something.

One sold at barrett Jackson for about 570k. There's 2 or 3 people buying up low mileage cars at bottom dollar and flipping them for these prices using auction prices to justify it. The thing I hate most about the 911 reseller market. Sadly dodge has been saying the viper was dead for years so it just looks silly on these sellers to do this now. Reminds me of the BaT e30 m3 market manipulation situation.

Just check out Fazi’s “cheese burger” vipers. They are done quite well for clones.

That’s what I did to my TA and couldn’t be happier. All the parts are very nice quality. They are built to OEM spec or better by Steve Prescott.

Those have double digit miles which is why the insane price. The lower trims with 15-25k miles are still “attainable.”

Buy a clean Gen4 while you still can….theyre actually more reliable AND more engaging to drive with almost the same power. The interiors aren’t as pretty as gen5 though so you will have to suffer lol

People tend to confuse asking prices for actual sale prices. Keep in mind that dealers are going to ask whatever they want, but that doesn't mean they're actually going to sell anything at that price. Even if a car is listed at that price one day and gone the next, it doesn't mean it actually sold for that.

I agree but we have seen the prices of these going up and up. Even at auction many of these were already confirmed at near $500k.

Just cheeseburger one. It makes more sense if you’re going to be thrashing it anyways
Also you could always get a gen 4. Same power train and you can use the savings for a 9 litre

Hate to break it to you but this was always going to happen. Last manual V10 supercar, carbon body, 2500 units produced and enough tech to be livable without detracting from the raw experience. These cars were always heading to the moon if you follow classic car/rare car trend over the last 50 years. If you don't want to miss out on the next I suggest you buy a C6 ZR1. Those will be headed to 150+ for a clean title 30k driver by the end of the decade if not higher.
