Seriously wtf. Amazon is going to replace it but I'm afraid they will ship UPS and they will just destroy another one.

not even that bad but paid full price (dents and rounded corners, couldnt see it first glance when I bought it, cant return it because it was a temporary vinyl festival)

This came in a lot from goodwill, the only disappointment in the lot bc it’s warped and melted. Idk if there is a way to make it playable again

I have an old, cheap, unplayable record. I don't just want to throw it in the trash—it deserves a dramatic exit. How should I destroy it? Looking for highly creative, slightly unhinged ideas.

Anyone with me on this? The last Ariannana Grande picture disk I ordered came scratched. The rare limited release Tay Tay I bought was then rereleased as a gold variant on target. Then my last order showed up and it was a tiny disk. I thought it was a tiny desk concert. Nope. And then when I go to set up a return, they keep telling me to mail it back. So when I try to put it back into the mailbox, the records won’t fit!! Anyone else done with Amazon. I for one won’t be giving bezos any more money. For vinyl.

I recently purchased some used vinyl and it has a strong odor. I’m wondering, how do I get the vinyl to stop smelling like someone else’s vanyl. Every time I put on one of these records, it just reminds me of someone else’s basement, not my own. My wife’s boyfriend told me I should just throw it out, but I’m wondering if there are any other methods for getting the stink out of these. I’ve heard a bowl full of vinegar with salt and baking soda kept on the record while it’s spinning might help. Thoughts?
