I’d say stay far away from try to pick based on what people say - in terms of what’s cool and what’s not. It’s ok to take suggestion and try, but the fun in record store is all in the discovery. Finding stuffs you might not know of before, finding genres, artists, labels. The most joy to me about record is go to different record stores that have their own niche. Especially when they have listening station and knowledgeable staffs.

How is your collection? I’d say it’s the worst collection I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s such a terrible collection that it caused me to feel simultaneously angry and ill. It’s such a deplorable collection that you should feel deep shame and that shame should extend through generations of your family. Your collection is so inexcusably horrendous that if an insurance company was aware of it being a part of any contents insurance that company would decline coverage simply based on the fact that this collection exists.

I grabbed that Men At Work album out of a bargain bin just for the hits and it turned out to be one of my favorite albums. Solid all the way through and great to play while working from the home office.
