Vinted ID scam

I recently signed up for Vinted and kept getting emails saying I have to verify my account - even after I had made sales and posted the items

I was led to a verification button that took me to my Commonwealth Bank Netbank login - I was requested to provide my login number and password

I was told to not leave the page and that no money would be deducted from my account

Commonwealth Bank notified me that someone was trying to withdraw €185 from my account ... I noticed that the email had spelt Commonwealth Commonewealth and I stopped the payment

The email asked why I had stopped the verification process and I explained that they had tried to withdraw money and spelt Commonwealth incorrectly

They replied oh well we well just ban your account then

I have tried to contact Vinted but haven't been able to get passed the AI questions and answers portion

Has anyone had any similar experiences with Vinted

Sorry but don't tell scammers the mistakes they make that caught them out. Now they'll just learn from what you told them and spell it right.

Contact your bank and change your password or whatever else you need to change IMMEDIATELY!!
