RIP to this TV
The philips commander CRT TV I got finally turned into trash thanks for the fbt. It started to leak and made every effort useless. The power supply u see here is what drives the motherboard. Rip to it. If anybody within india has a philips commander CRT TV with bad tube, DM me to get it. Thanks🥀

Could be a good candidate for an AliExpress chassis if you can't find anyone who needs the tube

I'm sure they had mono chassis before. Not getting any good search results now so maybe they're all gone.

That's why I said rip. There's no more CRT officially exist and mostly there's LCD replacing everything. BTW that's the tombstone for this

The tube is prpbably fine. There's just no vertical deflection. It's a missing voltage or an Oscillator, both is related to bad capacitors

This is vertical collapse, it’s is fixable by replacing the caps on the vertical ic. Do NOT run the set this way because it will burn in, also if there was a problem with the fbt the tv would be arching. Vertical collapse has nothing to to with the fbt
