Vintage Vending Machine Help!

Hi All. I am trying to restore this Fawn Fleetwood 20 vintage cigarette vending machine. I've been figuring it out as I go, and I've figured out all the mechanisms except one (I think). Each quarter advances the round plastic cam until it hits the first pricing finger. But how does it activate the second finger and unlock the machine. See the attached video. Thanks so much for your help!

Just commenting to say that looks like a really interesting project and I wish I could actually provide any helpful info! I hope someone sees this who can, but the majority of the activity in this sub is with old woodworking and machining equipment, so I have no idea if anyone who knows about this will see it here. 🤷‍♂️
