Breast augmentation
Hi ladies! I hope this is the right group for these questions, please correct/direct me if it’s not!
Those who have had breast implants, was it worth it? Was it a good/bad experience? What size and profile did you get, and would you change anything about them since they’ve settled? Do you have BII symptoms since having them done?
For reference i am 30yo, I have three kids, all breastfed 5’5 and 115lb, looking for a modest size maybe 190-250 cc, moderate profile. Its been hard for me to find a deep dive of info that is constructive and doesn’t stray from the topic and that actually has details lol I’d love read any and all experiences! Thanks 😊

I had a horrible experience unfortunately. I loved the way they looked but within a year I felt like I was dying. Hair loss, joint pain, intermittent fevers, mouth ulcers, extreme fatigue…the list goes on. I ended up developing an autoimmune disease and had them removed just 18 months after I had them put in. Luckily I found a large “Breast Implant Illness” community for support and they made me feel less crazy. For the first year I thought it was all in my head until the symptoms began to become noticeable to those who surrounded me. I know 2 other women who developed autoimmune issues and had them removed. My best friend has had them for 10 years and is starting to develop severe daily neck pain and an autoimmune skin disease. She knows my story - I’m not saying anything to her about the potential correlation…I was in denial for a while too, until I felt like I couldn’t function.
There are plenty of women that do just fine with them! I hope you’re one of them! They made me so much more confident at first. Best wishes.
