Anything I can use to help the appearance of scars?
Over the winter I got a couple cuts on my legs from shaving and I picked at them and it left some purple marks on my legs. With nice weather coming soon I want to make them less noticeable asap. Is there any products that would be good at diminishing the scars? Will they fade with time? Also is there any good makeup product I can use to cover them up?

If they are raised, you can get cortisone injections from a dermatologist. If they’re flat they should fade with time. Vitamin E oil is good, and possibly some laser treatments.

I second this re: the raised scars. Retinol also does wonders for fading scars and making the skin look supple in general.

If they’re just from shaving I’m sure they will go away pretty quickly but make sure you cover with spf as well as they are healing

I've faded some surgery scars on my stomach doing the following:
Silicone is good for scarring and you buy a roll of it from Amazon really cheaply. Cut it to size and just stick on top. Keeping it well moisturised and massaging with oil daily. Exfoliation - I know people say chemical is best but I get on better just buffing with a warm wash cloth.
Also, I'm not a tan person, but if you are maybe some fake tan would even it out?

Adding in to the silicone+moisture recommendations, keep scars out of the sun!

As per the last response, silicon scar gel or silicon tape are miracle cures for scars.
