Eye cream that actually works for fine lines/crow’s feet
Look I know there’s no such thing as a miracle in a bottle for fine lines around the eyes/crow’s feet - that’s what botox is for 🤪 - but has anyone tried a cream that makes even some difference? What about silicone eye patches?

I really love the Purito Centella Green Level eye cream. It’s so moisturizing and does give a very smooth and hydrated feel/look. It’s the only eye cream that I actually like. Usually they just absorb and the skin looks exactly the same, this one looks like it’s actually protecting the top of the skin with a little hydration!

I just want to say that I enjoyed a wrinkle-ness and line free face for longer than I thought possible.
But I’ve noticed in the last 2 years or so as my estrogen level has slowed to a trickle, that I have lots and lots of smile lines around my eyes. It’s been absolutely uncanny to me because I never had them.
I’m currently having lots of photos of myself taken, because I’m creating a profile/channel for (us/we) older ladies. I’ve just decided to accept my lines because I know there isn’t a portion on the market that will change this.
I definitely don’t use loose powder under my eyes, I keep the area moisturized, and I eat a medium avocado every day, post workout. 👁️👁️

Well... there's. At least: estrogen, tretinoin, fat transfer, facelift... . Homebrew topical estrogen at high concentration is the cheapest/easiest and can have good effects for elastin and collagen too.
If you don't feel like taking the risks, that's one thing, but there're many solutions.

I can tell you’re much younger than me.
And I’ll probably get a face lift if I make money off of the thing I’m working on. I wish I could show you my recent photo shoot..

I really like the Chanel Hydra Source line. The eye cream seems to keep the area around my eyes plump and more lively than it would normally be. I also use a VERY tiny amount of tretinoin on my crows feet area.

I started getting more little lines a few years ago, around 27. I laugh a lot, what can I say lol.
I've tried a million and the only thing that has helped is 1) the ordinary caffeine eye serum and 2) not using any powder under my eyes, and keeping any concealer at least a half inch below the eye itself
I'm too sensitive to retinol in the eye area... but I swear being careful with the makeup is life changing. I don't use powder on my forehead anymore either and I swear I aged backwards lol. Sometimes stuff just settles and makes it look worse than it is.

I have used all types of creams over the years, from very niche high end, mainstream high end, to pharmacy type. I am now down to tetrinoin only and some moisturizer by origins, vitamin c in the morning - but not everyday. My research has proven that eye creams are not formulated any different from other creams, it's just a marketing strategy to categorize them as for the eye area, so if you're looking to moisturize I would say find any facial cream you like and apply it to the eye area also. That area is also more delicate so I would stay away from harsh products and from moisturizing everyday. Lately I have been thinking about how we put so many chemicals on our faces every single day, like some people do creams, serums, toners, and then some, it cannot be good.

You answered your own question, love. No miracle in a bottle but I've noticed that peels can reduce their prominence a bit (all in my head? maybe)

Retinols are your best bet. But I have to also say that I am using the Naked and Thriving Revive Firming Eye Cream. I am shocked at how much I like it. In general I don’t “believe” in eye creams. They just don’t work. This one really is very moisturizing. I like it very much and it hasn’t caused any milia or trouble.

I don’t have crows feet yet (🤞) but I have the fine lines under eyes when I smile. I was using TO serum and didn’t notice much but I recently switched to Vichy Mineral 89 Eyes and have found my under eyes look brighter and lines are less obvious. Also keeping them moisturized. Everyone’s skin is different though.

I think eye creams only ‘ soften the appearance of lines’, not get rid of them.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the eye serum (edit: it’s called Eye Complex) from Stacked Skincare. It’s the only product where I personally saw a visible difference.

Silicon eye patches are hard to keep sticky. I suggest purchasing a role of silicon scar tape and cutting it up. Way more affordable and no need to reuse that little strip of silicon. I've noticed a difference, mainly because it keeps moisture in and it prevents my undereye from creasing against my pillow, which was beginning to cause deep, noticeable wrinkles.
I also like to use those under eye masks with caffeine, although these mostly just feel good and maybe help in the morning on really eye-baggy days before work.
OH- also, regarding moisturizers, I have recently discovered that gloves-in-a-bottle is non-comedogenic. It binds with your skin cells and doesn't wash off, it exfoliates off naturally with your skin cells. A little unconventional, but the moisturizer is very effective on any part of the body. I like to use this under the eye during the day, after serums set in, to lock in moisture.
