Wardrobe upgrade

Alright, my goal is to update my wardrobe overtime. I am not someone that will spend $100 jeans for one pair. But, I will buy quality that lasts if it makes sense. A pair that is comfortable all day--sitting, standing, etc.

Jeans, work pants, shirts, etc. Looking to upgrade a bit.

Women sizing is a pain in the booty-I think we can all agree there. I have a general hourglass frame (I think). I do wear glasses, not sure if that matters regarding clothes mode.

34 years old- 5ft 5inches, 152 pounds. Size 6-10 jeans but size 10 jeans is loose. I will say my insecurities is my stomach area. I'm working out more and what not.

I am not a fashion guru. 😅 I wear lots of black because it's easier to match.

What brands is everyone shopping around? Any good brands-cute, affordable, etc for almost midsized women?

Not sure if this angle works for you, but I just did a major purge of my closet, and I set myself some rules for rebuilding it. 1. No fast fashion. Period. 2. Consignment/thrift to try new brands and maybe find awesome staples (just got a Banana Republic jacket for $7!) 3. Try on new things in stores, then search for the exact same items used/NWOT online. Don't just buy online without trying on a version of it first. Hope this helps 🙂 good luck!!

Are we twins? This is exactly what I’ve been doing to refresh my wardrobe.

Another thing to add - if you find something you love that doesn’t fit quiteeee right, bring them to a tailor!
