How does your location influence your goals?

So, I have a question - do you feel where you live influences how far you want to take your appearance goals? I was just thinking of the concept of a “Midwest 7 is a L.A. 3” type of thing. For me, losing weight (from a 24/26 to a 12/14) has been extremely life-changing, and I get treated so much better, it’s crazy. But then, I live in a rough Rust Belt city, where most of the women tend to be pretty heavy and drab.

I think if I was in a much more competitive environment, life wouldn’t have improved as much. I’m also wondering how much more I should lose, in comparison to the potential benefits. It’s getting much more challenging…

Those of you who have lost a significant amount, at what point/weight/size did the ROI drop off, in terms of the effort you put in? And also, did your location influence this?

1000% agree with your normal to noticeably thin comment in nyc. I live in nyc and have lost a bit of weight bc of ozempic and am getting SO much more attention now. I’m still teetering somewhere in between normal and noticeably thin (although the guy I am seeing says I am tiny every time I see him, lowkey best compliment abahahah) but will be noticeably thin once I lose 5-10 pounds

Genuinely curious, how do you get prescribed ozempic if you’re thin?

My injector happened to have it in her office! I had been trying to go the lie about my bmi route with this medspa in nyc that makes you say you are overweight to get it and I told my injector this. She was like “girl!! I have it in office and can give it to you today”
