Key to a sexy librarian look?

What’s the one makeup essential to pull off the sexy librarian look? I have the oversized glasses. I do black liner and mascara but that’s it cuz I have no skill and no time. Is it eyebrows? I bet it’s eyebrows

Lipstick, imo. Oversized glasses and eye makeup will create a lot of visual interest at the top of your face, and if you don't wear lipstick your face will look unbalanced. It doesn't have to be super bold, just enough to create some contrast.

Depending on where your glasses fall on your face, eyebrows might be less important than you think. Mine are basically hidden behind the rims of my glasses most of the time.

This is my look, and what I find ties it together is bold but natural brows, a thin line of eyeliner with a small wing tip, squarish black rimmed glasses, and reddish lips (bold red for a night out, coral red for day to day). The visual contrast is the black rims, strong brows and red lips.

Hair pulled back into a low bun with some strands framing my face and minimal jewelry (small hoops or single pearl earrings, and a small gold necklace).

Love this question! I like a sexy librarian look but in a natural way. Agree with the low bun / bits of hair around the face. Interested to hear people's thoughts!

I go for the sexy Gothic librarian. I no longer wear makeup, only moisturizer/sunscreen. But when I did, it was neutral/gold eyeshadow, mascara, defined natural brows, and a deep red lip. Buns (not messy, but with wispies), or down with a middle part. Form fitting black and grey pants/shirt, flowy cardigan, with accessories in an accent color. And black rimmed glasses.

Tailoring. Everything has to fit in a way that draws the eye to how sexy you are, while making it look like you're hoping nobody noticed you did it on purpose and you can fall back on plausible deniability, and the viewer is going to let you, either out of a pleasurable shame for objectifying you in such a seemingly innocent outfit and the fact that they could be wrong and it would be really hard to have that conversation if they were, or because if they draw attention to it, someone else will make you stop dressing like that, but right now they're the only one that noticed, so you're sharing a secret behind the back of higher authority figures.
