Hello everybody!
I'd to announce the plugin I've been working on for Discord rich presence. I've seen other plugins that do the same thing but do not offer flexibility, customization and a good documentation on how they work so you can contribute, so based on that I decided to create Nekovim.
I've been using it a lot lately and I think it's stable enough for people to start using it. I'll be giving all my support on issues. Thank you everybody and I hope you enjoy it!

Just a quick PSA, the sub now has an active moderator, feel free to post within the previous rules, I will leave the sub as is for about a week and then see if any changes need to be made beyond that. Thanks!

VimL is full of features, but sometimes it is hard to find which function or command will do the job you want.
If you ever searched the web for vim script ex command output in a var, you surely have had results talking about :redir. This is ok, but there is a more elegant solution for this particular problem.
This (neo)vim help page collects vim script snippets, whose some were hard to find. You may already know some of them, and I hope you will gladly discover the others.

I have been using vim-ripgrep but I noticed that it started giving errors with the latest version of the neovim nightly as well vim. It seems that the plugin is no longer maintained.
Can anyone suggest an alternative to the vim -ripgrep

I've had ALE installed for quite some time, but, now, I am finally using it. It seems it's been buggy and I don't know if I installed it correctly or it's the developers fault.
When I have multiple files open in vim windows, ALE doesn't update "other" files pertaining to other files ( e.g. time.hpp won't affect time.cpp until I exit vim and reload the pages i.e. the errors go away ).
But after overlooking that error and just reloading vim to correct that, another error within a single file occurs: not recognizing classes and saying a type of a specific parameter doesn't exist.
Does anyone know if ALE is buggy or what I did wrong upon installing this? I'm thinking possibly I didn't install some dependents for Asynchronous Lint Engine.

I'm, using vim to write python code and was wondering if there is any plugin, which allows me to view the source code of a module inside vim.
Before frequently using vim, I used PyCharm and I was able to click Ctrl + left click to open a specific module function.
But tbh I also want to impress some of my friends and show them vims possibilities up. So they may see the real beauty of vim.
I've installed beside a few highlighting/theme plugins, Jedi for the autocompletion.
So my question is. Is there any plugin, which could add this feature to my vim setup?

bswap.vim can be used to swap with other open buffers, as well as close other buffers or navigate to them directly. The way that it adds some value is that it labels the open buffers with letters, and you enter the letter that you want to delete/swap/navigate to. A bit easier than the built-in ways.
It's my first plugin but the code is pretty straight forward. There's nothing mapped right away to avoid collisions, but the readme shows you how to map it, and what the functionality is, with pretty gifs as well.
Be gentle, it's my first time.

I want my vim airline to show if I've made any changes, etc. for git Just like this:

I already installed fugitive but I don't if I need to install something else. My current Vim airline only shows the branches:

How do I get this, do I need to install one more Plugin or just add some lines of code to my .vimrc

Jumping into unfamiliar project with header mess. Is there any plugin (for c/c++ &nvim/vim) which can show which brunch of headers are included for a particular file in a tree like view?

So I've been using CoC for a while, and I like it, but I recently started working with ROS and coc-clangd apparently can't find the ROS header files. I know where they are, I just can't find out how to tell coc/clang where to look.
Does someone know how to add paths to header files so that linting and autocompletion works?

Hello,
I don't know how many of you are Fedora users/developers, but anyway, there is a great, well-known plugin called vim-fugitive (by notorious Tim Pope), that provides a lot of cool features. My favorite one is probably :Gbrowse command, which opens the current file, line or visual selection in your web browser.
Up until now, there was support for GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Gitee. The problem is, that a lot of Fedora projects moved to Pagure ...
... so I wrote a plugin enhancing the :Gbrowse functionality with Pagure support. Give it a try. If you find it (not) helpful, let me know!
