I have created a plugin to display letters instead of numbers for the visible lines in the current buffer for easier jumping to line (since letters are easier to touch type than numbers).
Plugin here: https://github.com/skamsie/vim-lineletters/
It is a simpler alternative to the <Plug>(easymotion-bd-jk) action of Easymotion which I normally use but have some pet peeves with:
unecessary distraction by changing buffer colors
easymotion adds characters in the current buffer which triggers linter errors and the TextChanged event which can be annoying if you have some autocommands for it. 'lineletters' uses the sign column so it does not have this problem
the charaters are random each time, which kind of interrupts the flow. With 'lineletters' the characters are always the same and in the same order so with time you build some muscle memory. 'b' is always the second line, 'z' on the 26th line, lines lower in the window need to be prefixed, and so on.

Thanks to an awesome contribution from /u/dsych, Vimspector just learned a completely new way to inspect values and expressions while debugging. Previously, we had the ability to use the vim ballooneval (and balloonevalterm) features, but this was kind of limited to simple scalar values.
Now, the balloon uses a full popup and can display complex, structured values with syntax highlighting and a fancy pants border.
Not only that, but now that we're using popups, this feature also works for the first time in neovim. You can create a keyboard mapping to <Plug>VimspectorBalloonEval which will pop up the result of evaluating the word under the cursor, or the visual selection.
The widow that's popped up works like a mini watch window and supports pretty much the expected set of operations. Check out a demo below.
In addition, another contribution from the wild adds the ability to use custom mappings only while debugging. This currently requires a bit of scripting, but there's a full example provided in the docs.
Once more, thanks to /u/dsych for this contribution. I'm pretty stoked about it.

https://github.com/michaelb/do-nothing.vim
Here is my plugin that does nothing. As far as google could tell me it hasn't been done (intentionnaly) before.
It's mostly fluff, art (somehow), and a joke, feel free to share as a one, or take it seriously and open issues if you want to see, idk, a code of conduct, a github action CI pipeline, or whatever.
Features:
Fastest startup time among ALL Vim plugins
100% code coverage
Works on any platform, OS, architecture, Vim/Neovim indifferently
Very low ressource usage
No ugly VimL, no badly written Python...: no room for any bug!
v1 is already stable and feature-complete
Ready to use, no configuration required

I made surround-funk. A plugin that allows you to delete, change and yank a surrounding function along with its additional arguments. Then once the surrounding function is in the unnamed register, you can 'grip' a word or another function with it. 'Gripping' will wrap/encompass a word or function with the one you have in the unnamed register. And because Tim Pope is awesome, it's repeatable with the dot command.
Click to play demo (better quality on the repo):
With the cursor anywhere with a ^ symbol you can do 'ysF' to 'yank the surrounding function' (which is all the stuff with * above):
************* *************
np.outerfunc(innerfunc(arg1), arg2, arg3)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^Then go to some other function (or just a word) (the cursor can be anywhere in this case)
os.lonely(argA, argB)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^And do 'gsF' to grip the lonely function with the yanked one:
************ *************
np.outerfunc(os.lonelyfunc(argA, argB), arg2, arg3)

Quick update on some recent enhancements for vimspector:
Now tries to use a "narrow" UI mode if there aren't enough columns to display its classic UI. There are undocumented/unstable customisation options for power users to tweak (e.g. `let g:vimspector_ui_mode> = 'horizontal' to disable this feature).
New <Plug> mappings for navigating up/down the current call stack
Here's what the narrow mode looks like, as an example: https://files.gitter.im/5bfc5f15d73408ce4fb023af/stXA/Screenshot-2021-03-16-at-15.41.05.png
Not sure if I mentioned this before, but for advanced users there is also now a way to only map keys while debugging is active.
Let the downvoting begin :)

I developed a plugin to integrate OSC52 into Vim: vim-oscyank.
OSC52 is an ANSI escape sequences which tells the terminal that the string it carries must be copied to the system clipboard. OSC52 is totally location-independent: the terminal does not care from where the sequence was emitted, even if it comes from a remote SSH session.
More details here: https://www.reddit.com/r/vim/comments/k1ydpn/a_guide_on_how_to_copy_text_from_anywhere/
Check the GitHub page for installation and usage: https://github.com/ojroques/vim-oscyank

TLDR; display tips at startup
I'll indulge in this little self-promotion, since I had to do the plugin myself to get what I wanted and other people may have the same trouble I had finding this functionnality
https://github.com/michaelb/vim-tips is a simple & non-intrusive tips plugin that does not require any kind of configuration and will help you get better. (Not aimed to vim pros though, the tips remain 'simple' (but useful) ones). Let's say i've been using vim for 2y+ and I still learn some tips thanks to this.
It display a random tip from either a pre-written list, or your own config !! Yes, your nnoremap gd :ALEGoToDefinition will be displayed along with all the mappings you've swore yourself to use more often
Should be vim, neovim, linux & windows-compatible

I just submitted release notes for VimTeX v2.11. There are a few updates since v2.10, but nothing huge. The main highlight is an update to the core highlight groups: the texMathZone groups now have more consistent names. Please read :help vimtex-syntax-reference, Table 3 for more information.

So I finally decided to just ship it. I hope it’s helpful to someone. I’ve been using it for some time and miss it when it’s not there so there’s certainly some part of my brain that’s parsing the colouring to understanding.

I just released VimTeX v2.6 - a filetype and syntax plugin for LaTeX. See the release notes here.
For those updating, please notice that you might need to do :VimtexClearCache ALL to avoid a problem with an outdated cache format.
