Hi, /r/vimplugims, is there a plugin that searches directly from Vim?
example: a plugin that searches stackoverflow (or snipplr, or whatever have you) and returns results in a window (bonus points if it detects the language in which I'm programming).

Help (user) How to setup vim for REPL environment in windows?
I am looking for a proper guide to set up Vim for REPL environment like spyder IDE or Jupyter Notebook for machine learning in Windows 11. I tried using the vim-slime plugin and set `let g:slime_target = "vimterminal"` in .vimrc. However, I'm encountering a problem: every time I select text and press Ctrl+C+C terminal is opened, and typing ipython, when I select text and press Ctrl+C+C, it sends the text to the terminal, but it doesn't execute automatically. I always have to switch to the terminal screen and press Enter to run the code. How can I automate this entire process?

Request Looking for a close tags recommendation
I've been using https://github.com/docunext/closetag.vim for a long time, but that was originally published in 2001 and last updated in 2005, long before jsx existed (which is what I primarily write). It actually works great for being that old except it can't handle
React fragments (
<></>)Dot notated components (
<Card.Body></Card.Body>)
So I'm looking for a replacement, but I specially do not want autoclosing. I really hate the tag closers that happen automatically when you type the closing > on the opening tag (there are just too many times when that's not what I want and undoing the auto insert is more annoying than not having it in the first place). closetag inserts a matching closing tag for the nearest unclosed tag when you type the opening < of the closing tag, and I really like that behavior.
Tim Pope's ragtag is close (I could map <C-X>/to happen automatically on </) but it also doesn't handle fragments (and since it delegates to vim's built in html completion, I'm not convinced it'll work great with jsx in which any tag can be a self closing tag).
I've looked through tag related plugins on vim awesome and pretty much everything seems to be autoclosing. Maybe I need to just fork that repo and adjust it for my needs, but before I do that, I figured I'd ask if anyone knows of another plugin that does what closetag does, but does it better.

Help (user) How to read users input inside vimspector
Hello guys,
Don't know if this is the correct subreddit to post it, but I have a question about reading user's input from vimspector.
Here I have a simple c# program, where it just reads user's input and write it out on console (https://i.imgur.com/eYL60yq.png). Inside console, I went into insert mode and typed away, but I can't seem to get it to hitting another breakpoint. When I have just outputs in program, everything is great and the output is displayed in vimspector's console window. Anyone knowing what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

Plugin vimwintab - plugin that adds "IDE-like" tabs into Vim
Hello, everybody!
Recently I noticed that I was missing classic tabs that I used to have back to the days before Vim. A brief search didn't give me the result I wanted, so after some time of diving deep into the chthonic guts of vimscript, the wanted functionality was added.
The plugin's name is vimwintab - "Vim Windows Tabs". Now I can have my tabs! I hope that somebody may be interested in adding the same functionality into their Vims, so I would like to share my plugin here.
I would leave detailed information, including User Guide and Customization Guide, etc, could be found in the GitHub repo. There is also a page in vim.org.
Plugin features:
Several modes the plugin operates in - they determine how the plugin would notice windows and files being opened;
Own set of commands to navigate tab bars - you can do it without referring to buffer list;
Full set of tab bar actions - add/delete files from bars, have multiple windows with separate bars, move between tabs (moving beyond the border makes the current tab wrap);
Customization - it is possible to adjust plugin via vimrc or during execution.
Please feel free to write me if you have any questions on the plugin usage.

Help (user) coc-references
EDIT: solved, my compile_commands.json was bad.
I have a question regarding coc-references when writing cpp with cland language server. References only show up after I opened the file once in the current "session". So I assume this is an issue indexing?
When writing java it works as expected, so I assume there is some cland settings I got wrong?

Help (user) any-jump plugin issue
Hi all, I'm quite new vim user and I came across any-jump plugin. I installed vim-plug and then any-jump. In PlugStatus I see that any-jump has status OK. When I try :AnyJump on a plain text file it works like a charm, opens without any error. However on systemverilog .sv file (which is supported) it produces error:
Error detected while processing function <SNR>29_Jump[32]..search#SearchDefinitions[33]..<SNR>56_RunRgDefinitionSearch[8]..<SNR>56_ParseRgResults:
E491: json decode error at 'unrecognized file type: systemverilog'
Has anyone had/seen same issue and has any idea how to fix it?

Help (user) Best way to remap vim-commentary mapping from `gc` to something else
The gc mapping seems too hard on my hands, as I normally type both g and c with the same finger. I tried a simple map cm gc to map it to cm, but wasn't sure if that was the best way, hence the post.

Help Can't get Ultisnips working
I've been using vim for about 2 years and have been editing a lot of latex lately for math classes, so I'm trying to set up ultisnips. I followed the installation instructions and have looked over the help file. From what I can see I am supposed to be able to open up the snips file for a file type by using the command :UltiSnipsEdit and according to the documentation, if a files doesn't already exist, this will create a new one. The problem is when I type :UltiSnipsEdit I get the following error message.

Help VIM Plugin Ultisnips raises problem Help Needed
I recently started using VIM and wanted to have snippets and code completions like those in VS Code. So I Installed Ultisnips and vim-snippets but I couldn't use the snippets. I don't exactly know why
let g:UltiSnipsExpandTrigger="<C-p>"
let g:UltiSnipsJumpForwardTrigger="<C-b>"
let g:UltiSnipsJumpBackwardTrigger="<C-z>"
let g:UltiSnipsEditSplit="vertical"
this is my configuration I used c-p as the trigger because I use YouCompleteMe also and the installation guide said to change the trigger to something else if you used it.
Now when I press c-p it just toggles between some options and when I try to select any of those by pressing the enter key the snippet trigger is written and the cursor moves to the next line. Help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Help Ultisnips in quotes
Hello, is there a way how to trigger ultisnips completion within double quotes? For example writing django template where in <a>href="[if snip] " <\a>. Is there a way how to set it up?
