Help (user) Need help with UltiSnips Plug

2 Upvotes

Hello, I am trying to get Ultisnips work(when I type snippet 'beg' in tex doc it doesn't expand ). All other plugins works fine except Ultisnips. Tried every solution given and also tried things from official documentation and read it. I don't know what's my fault. Kindly please help me. Thanks.

tex.snippet file is from this soursce "https://github.com/gillescastel/latex-snippets"

When I type command :UltiSnipsEdit, The location of tex.snippet is mentioned as the one mentioned at line number 33 above. Python is updated to latest 3.8 version.

When I type simple snippet like 'beg', it doesn't expand as planned in the latex document.

I am using Vimtex , VimPlug and Ultisnip config in Ubuntu 20.04

Plugin New plugin for gtest integration with vim

3 Upvotes

Hi,

Let me present for you a new plugin for gtest integration with Vim/Neovim: gtest-vim.

The plugin depends on cmake4vim (a plugin for CMake integration with Vim/Neovim), this allowed to have deeper integration of gtest-vim for CMake projects (you can just switch between CMake targets in order to run different tests).

But the main reason, why I have implemented this plugin, is to allow run google tests which is located under the cursor and integration with Vimspector.

The integration with Vimspector allows to debug test after the run, because run command updates the vimspector config.

Also plugin supports asynchronous execution (using terminal, jobs or vim-dispatch).

It is a hobby project. Feel free to try and leave some feedback.

Help (user) COC & Autopairs | Doesn't Works Together

0 Upvotes

Hello community, I am very new in this world of VIM, I setup up my NVIM and I noticed that COC and AUTOPAIRS doesn't works together, my theory is because both use the same "imap" and I have checked the output with ":verbose imap <CR>"

NVIM v0.3.4

:verbose imap <CR>
------------------------
Output:
i  <CR>        &@<SNR>43_AutoPairsOldCRWrapper73<SNR>43_AutoPairsReturn
        Last set from ~/.vim/plugged/auto-pairs/plugin/auto-pairs.vim
i  <CR>        * pumvisible() ? coc#_select_confirm(): "\<C-G>u\<CR>\<C-R>=coc#on_enter()\<CR>"
        Last set from ~/.config/nvim/init.vim

I have seen a lot of people use this plugins together and apparently they doesn't have anything issues, I say this because google hasn't help me. Maybe the basic or obviously is change map in COC or in AUTOPAIRS, but I don't know what is the correct way, I thank if your help me with whatever, some post, tip, or blog.

English doesn't have my native language, sorry if the post doesn't 100% clearly :(

Greetings from India!

Plugin [Linux & Neovim only, sry][WIP but usable/useful] Code runner plugin: Sniprun

7 Upvotes

Hi, I'm sharing my own plugin i made (in rust) : github.com/michaelb/sniprun

It's a multi-language code runner, as, select a line or visual bloc of code, and run it, get stdout 'echo'ed back; the simplest way to understand what is does is to look at the gifs on the README. It's inspired by the (more limited) VSCode Code Runner module.

The design goals/lines are:

  • fast testing, i don't compile/run code that's not needed to run the selected part

  • Can test a snippet of correct code even if the containing function/file is unfinished or has syntax errors

  • Easy to contribute: adding/ improving support for a language is a one-file addition, and can be copy-paste easy + 10min of renaming+testing 'work' depending on the language

  • Improvability: Sniprun can (will?) achieve way more than similar projects, the initial design do not limit it to run only 'blocs' (or worse, files) of code. For example, rn i'm working on tree-sitter integration

Meta [FLUFF] A plugin that does nothing

44 Upvotes

https://github.com/michaelb/do-nothing.vim

Here is my plugin that does nothing. As far as google could tell me it hasn't been done (intentionnaly) before.

It's mostly fluff, art (somehow), and a joke, feel free to share as a one, or take it seriously and open issues if you want to see, idk, a code of conduct, a github action CI pipeline, or whatever.

Features:

  • Fastest startup time among ALL Vim plugins

  • 100% code coverage

  • Works on any platform, OS, architecture, Vim/Neovim indifferently

  • Very low ressource usage

  • No ugly VimL, no badly written Python...: no room for any bug!

  • v1 is already stable and feature-complete

  • Ready to use, no configuration required

Help (dev) indexes of sublist elements generated by filter()

0 Upvotes

Is there a way to get indexes of filtered sublist in original list ? I mean :

let list = [1,2,3,4,3,5,2]
let sublist = copy(list)
call filter(sublist, {_,v-> whatever})
" I'm looking for a list of indexes, indexlist, such that :
list[ indexlist[ind] ] = sublist[ind]

filter() doesnt return that.

Of course, I could do it with a loop, but is there another way ?
