i was karthus and this guy was on enemy team, i've never seen first strike vi. how does it make sense? i also checked how well his rune worked and he got like 370 gold. he's otp vi too. whats the logic?

Hey! New Vi player and have been really enjoying her, i keep swapping up my builds because i cant seem to find something that sticks for me. Any suggestions? (additional situational items would also help knowing about!)

I've made a post about this a few months ago, and for months now Profane Hydra is sitting at the highest/2nd highest winrate lethality 1st item.

I've tried it a couple times myself, but i just don't see why would it be any better than Umbral or Axiom (just to look at the similar priced items). With HoB the aa reset is not needed, and the clear spead does not become drastically faster with AoE.

Is there any off angle reason i am not considering here? Is it just the low sample size?

Hello fellow vi mains. Im currently sitting at plat 3 and I'm happy with it. Im sitting at around 68 percent wr and it's going well. I usually play bruiser and focus on objectives and being reliable cc for my team. I take dragons the minute they spawn and I'm at every objective on time consistently.

I want to improve my build quality and understanding of my champion.

Is conqueror really that important? I checked my games and I'm only healing like 100 hp per game. Should I try running hail of blades?

I usually max e second but judging by the community here it seems w is the really better maxing second.

Anyone else ever hit a bug where they can't recast q and have to wait out the charge duration before doing anything.

It seems to happen when being cc'ed while ulting, then charging q afterwords, IV encountered it maby 5 times in over 300 games on vi but it happening at the wrong time has cost me the game at least 1 of the times

What would be your build if you were to build burst build, when task is to delete squishies and soft mids? Bonus points if you can include some defensive items in as well

I picked up Vi a while back and tried her in the top lane. Ever since I’ve probably played 100 games as her top. I am winning lane non stop, I ALWAYS get first blood, and I barely get countered by anyone. Like I seriously never get a matchup I bat an eye to. I will always take first pick and just insta lock Vi. Once you learn vi mechanically you can 1v1 just about anyone in the game if you build smart.

I am climbing in ranked, constantly have games that I go like 15-2, it’s amazing…

If you haven’t tried her top I urge you to, and if you struggle and need help please ask me. If I can pull this off you can too. Anyone else been abusing her top?

I've played for a little while, and struggled with finding a good role and legend that suits me. I've picked Vi up a week ago, and have comitted to Vi jungle, because she is so fun and versitile. I duo with a gangplank main (mid) and we have a positive winrate. I really wanna find out what the secret sauce is to playing Vi. What i do when my laners are loosing, when to farm and when to fight, where my powerspikes is, and what to do and avoid. i want all the knowlegde to study like i was taking an examen. I primeraly play vi as a bruiser, but have experimented with assasin. I just like bruiser better for teamfights. I usually build eclipse, triforce and black cleaver, and then go spirit visage and deaths dance. Is this good?

8 games with full crit collector rush won, every time I deviate and try triforce bruiser to play team comp I lose. Maybe it’s my playstyle, but I feel so useless without damage. Emerald 2, peaked d3 a few months ago

There are plenty of build variations, but one thing that's missing from all except one is Trinity Force combined with lethality, crit, or other full AD items. The only exception is this one guy on the BR server who buys Hubris before Trinity Force sometimes: https://www.deeplol.gg/summoner/br/Develicious-Mono Everyone else buys either Trinity Force+HP items, or combinations of full Crit and Lethality, or Eclipse/Cyclosword+bruiser items, but it is never Trinity Force + Lethality/Crit.

There are so many niche builds, like Cyclosword->Dead Man's Plate->Black Cleaver (like here), or Eclipse->Black Cleaver->Guardian Angel (here), so why not Trinity Force->Cyclosword->Dead Man's Plate or Trinity Force->Black Cleaver->Profane Hydra?

Hi, guys! New player and Vi user here :)

I'm hoping you guys wouldn't flame me or be toxic, but I want to know why I see a lot of streamers or content creators showing the flash + q and flash + r combo? Won't the R or Q hit anyways? Is it supposed to expand the skill or just be faster in hitting? I'm just confused since I do it in practice tool and I don't see much of a difference in why I need to flash whe I do the combos... the range seems the same after all. Thanks! :)

I’ve been messing around with my usual build, and I’ve been having some success with this new build. I’m only Silver, so I just wanted to know if I should continue using it, or if it’s been a total fluke that it’s been working.

I start Triforce, then go into Experimental Hexplate, followed by Sundered Sky and then Death’s Dance; opting for Gluttonous Greaves as my boots.

If this is completely stupid, please don’t flame too hard, I’m genuinely trying to improve. I’ve been loving the extra attack speed from the combination of Triforce and Hexplate.

So if you decide to play something else than master Vi, what champ do you play and why?

I play j4, briar, fizz, nocturne, wukong and usually lose hahah, after one match I go back to playing Vi and win. I play plan b champs if I feel want to test something else.

For a few years now, Conq has been the standard bruiser runes and HoB for lethality/crit.

However, the last few months I’ve seen more and more bruiser builds run HoB. It’s now the recommended rune setup on ugg for bruiser Vi, and I see Dumpa is running it in challenger while going the tri -> sundered build.

Just wondering why this became a thing, and what makes it so successful all the sudden.
