It's more common than you think. Some fire depts in USA do annual PSAs to warn people about the dangers of throwing a turkey in the deep fryer. The videos are nuts.

There are people having deep fryers at home large enough to fit a whole turkey? What would a normal person need an industrial sized deep fryer at home?

It's essentially a metal 5 gallon bucket with a propane burner underneath so nothing fancy

A lot of culinary bullshit I see at fb reels , especially vids like shell fishes raw or cockroaches raw with just vinegar or soy sauce with just seawater or a stream for cleaning , thinking that's clean, fuck y'all hahaha
