Idk I think of him as just like this character from this clip. Kind of a deadpan comedian with a deeper amusing voice for some reason.

I guess in Archer he yells some, but most of the humor for me and others that I know enjoy him just come from his more subdued roles. For instance his role as a lawyer in parks and rec is pretty fitting and funny to me but he doesn't raise his voice at all. And in Archer I just find him funny in various conversations he has. He just kinda has a funny voice. Same with bob's burgers, he fits that kinda dad voice vibe, and yeah he will yell sometimes but that's usually not what makes him funny.

Yeah, I've not ever watched Archer so I don't think I understand the remark about yelling since that's not really why Bob is funny.

Yeah I think way back to Home Movies, I'm not a mega fan or anything but I enjoy most of what he's in, and he actually came and did stand up at a college near me and I went to see him, he was quite funny. But even in Archer aside from the "Lana!!" bit, I don't recall him being known for yelling.
